Due to the Ironman swim activities on Lake Woodlands this weekend, Riva Row Boat House will have a delayed opening on Friday and Saturday.

On Friday, April 21st, Riva Row Boat House will open at 11 a.m. On Saturday, April 22nd, Riva Row Boat House will open at 10 a.m.   Expect traffic delays and find alternate routes when planning your trip to our facilities on Saturday. Lakes Edge Boat House will maintain regular operating hours on both days, offering rentals from 9a.m – 6:30 p.m.

This Saturday, April 22, more than 2,500 participants and 4,000 community volunteers will be participating in the Memorial Hermann Ironman Texas Triathlon in The Woodlands. The Township encourages residents to review the Traffic Impact Plan and plan accordingly when traveling through the community on Saturday. Please call the dedicated traffic hotline at 281-706-4505 for traffic-related questions.

Due to issues with our contracted transportation company, all race start times for the 10th Annual TWFG Muddy Trails Bash will be delayed by 20 minutes for all times. Please see below for updated start times. Thank you for your patience as we sort through this matter. 
3:20p.m – One Mile Kids Fun Run

3:50p.m. – 10K

4:10p.m. – 5K

4:35p.m. – 2K9 Dog Fun Run

Please allow yourself extra travel time to your destinations tomorrow afternoon. Creekside Forest Drive, from the roundabout to Great Heron Drive, will be closed from 10am-9pm. Creekside Forest Drive, from Great Heron to Lake Paloma Trail, will be closed 2-7pm. Residents are encouraged to use Creekside Green for accessing and moving within the Village of Creekside Park. Harris County Constables will be responsible for closing and re-opening streets, and they will do so in a manner ensuring runner and spectator safety.

Avoid delays, plan your route before heading out!
