How far would you run for some delicious boiled crawfish? Registration is underway for the 10th annual TWFG Muddy Trails Bash on Saturday, April 1, 2017. All races are capped so be sure to sign up today!

muddytrails_cobrandlogo_group_cmykAll courses wind through the beautiful George Mitchell Nature Preserve, located on 1,800 acres adjacent to Rob Fleming Park in the Village of Creekside Park.

The TWFG Muddy Trails Bash is a USA Track and Field (USATF) sanctioned event that will feature five family events including:

  • Chip-Timed 10K Trail Run
  • Chip-Timed 5K Trail Run
  • Little Muddy Kids’ One-Mile Run
  • 2K-9 One-Mile Dog Fun Run
  • Muddy Bowl Crawfish Cook-Off


After that long run, stick around and enjoy the festive post-race party at Rob Fleming Park, which will include live Zydeco music, children’s activities and a crawfish cook-off!

Think you boil the best pot of crawfish in Texas? Prove it! Get your team ready and sign up for the annual Muddy Bowl Crawfish Cook-Off! Awards will be given for Best Crawfish, Best Cajun Dish, People’s Choice and Best Decorated Tent. Entry forms must be submitted by March 25, 2017 – apply today and get ready to show off your boiling skills!
