The second seasonal Dog Excursion Day will take place on Saturday, July 16th and you and your furry friend are cordially invited to attend. 

Dog Excursion Day will start at the Riva Row Boat House next to the Boardwalk Apartments. Attendees are encouraged to arrive by 9:15 a.m. to allow time for lifejacket fitting. Boats and jackets to accommodate any size dog will be available, so feel free to bring your Great Dane.

After paddling down the canal, we will dock at Northshore Park for a play date in the grass. Water and healthy dog snacks from Kriser’s Natural Pet store in Hughes Landing will be provided – don’t worry, there will also be healthy people snacks to enjoy!

The event will also feature a trick contest with prizes for the winner.

When: Saturday, July 16, 2016

Time: Please arrive at 9:15 a.m. for lifejacket fitting. Attendees will launch together at 9:30 a.m.

Fee: $30 for a solo kayak, $40 for a tandem kayak. (Fee includes boat rental, life jackets, snacks, water, and a goody bag from Kriser’s Natural Pet.)

Dog-Park rules apply. Dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations.

Participants are welcomed and encouraged to paddle on the lake past 11:30 a.m.; however, the standard rate of $5 per additional hour will apply.
