Best known for their scenic courses and superior organization, The Woodlands Township’s signature race series offers a unique and safe experience for participants in each event.  Mark your calendars to take part in TWFG Muddy Trails Bash, CB&I Triathlon –The Woodlands, and  Memorial Hermann 10 for Texas!  Entries for all races will be capped to ensure the safety of all participants.

TWFG Muddy Trails Bash

Date: April 2, 2016

The USATF sanctioned TWFG Muddy Trails Bash features a chip-timed 10K and 5K trail run, 2K9 dog fun run, and Little Muddy Kids’ one mile fun run. All courses wind through the beautiful trails of the George Mitchell Nature Preserve, with the Post-Race Party held at the adjacent Rob Fleming Park.  Post-Race festivities include live Zydeco and Cajun music, crawfish plates and other concessions, a Dog Recovery Zone, and a Kids’ Zone.  Spectators and race participants alike are invited to sample and vote for the People’s Choice Award in the annual Muddy Bowl Crawfish Cook-Off!

CB&I Triathlon

Date: April 30, 2016

The region’s premier multi-sport event, CB&I TRI – The Woodlands, will take place Saturday, April 30th, 2016 at Northshore Park. USAT sanctioned, the CB&I TRI will have a field of 1,400 athletes of varying fitness levels, from beginners to professional triathletes!  This sprint triathlon is composed of a 500-meter open-water swim in Lake Woodlands, a 15-mile bike course and a 5K run. Act fast, because registration for the 2015 CB&I TRI sold out in just 9 days!

Memorial Hermann 10 for Texas

Date: October 8, 2016

Memorial Hermann 10 for Texas features a USATF sanctioned, chip-timed, 10-mile race, starting and finishing in Market Street. Kids 12 and under can join in on the fun by taking part in the One 4 Texas one-mile kids’ fun run.  A Texas-sized Post-Race Party, complete with live Texas country music and fun for the whole family, will take place in Market Street’s Central Park.
